During my tenure as a Research Intern, I conducted literature reviews and performed quantitative data analysis to support project objectives. I applied remote sensing techniques, including land use and land cover classification, and carried out river erosion analysis. I participated in collecting quantitative data to evaluate the non-economic losses due to climate change. Furthermore, I transcribed recordings from Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) to extract key insights. I also assisted in organizing a capacity-building training on Locally Led Adaptation (LLA), facilitated by Professor Dr. Carley Pennink and Somesh Sharma from IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Under the Coastal City Resilience and Extreme Heat Action Project (CoCHAP), my main role was to update and edit OpenStreetMap (OSM) spatial and attribute data and perform spatial analysis using QGIS to inform local governance and stakeholders. I conducted Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and carried out in-depth case studies (IDIs), documenting the experiences of displaced communities. I drafted both a project report and an article focused on rural-to-urban displacement due to climate change impacts. Additionally, I actively participated in a series of strategic events, including a city-level climate change risk reduction co-design workshop, a cross-country learning and sharing workshop on this project involving Bangladesh, Honduras, Indonesia, and the Philippines, and a technical seminar focused on closing early warning gaps.
